[13th August 2025]
We’re hugely grateful to the Worthing Wobblers for their incredible commitment and determination in taking on this year’s Worthing Wobble.
On 3rd August, the team completed their cycle ride on a new off-road route from Hampton Court to Worthing via the Downs Link – in support of people living with Pelvic Radiation Disease (PRD). Among the riders was our very own David, Trustee and Acting Chair, who also lives with PRD himself.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who took part. Here’s what David had to say:
“The annual Worthing Wobble is a highlight of the cycling year for the friends and their family members who make up the dedicated Wobblers, led by Charles Bowman and John Parker. This year they organised an off-road route from Hampton Court to Worthing avoiding roads and, more importantly, big hills! They also put a lot of effort and research into choosing stops for coffee and cake along the way. The ride was great fun and all the Wobblers got to their seaside fish and chips safely. We are already looking forward to next year. We are enormously grateful to all the riders and to everyone who donated and supported along the way.”
So far, the ride has raised over £1,500 – with donations still coming in. If you’d like to show your support here’s how you can get involved:
