The European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) congress will be held in Glasgow this year from the 3rd – 7th May.

ESTRO’s new vision statement for 2030 is ‘Radiation Oncology. Optimal Health for All, Together‘ and is committed to understanding and addressing the multifaceted challenges patients face post-treatment. This commitment is illustrated in the 2024 programme which includes sessions dedicated to quality of life after cancer treatment and late effects of radiotherapy.

These sessions are part of the programme, running on Tuesday 7th May. We are delighted to share the news that our Trustee, David Jillings, will be sharing lived experience from the ‘Patient’s perspective’ in the ‘Quality of life after cancer treatment’ session.
