Our Worthing Wobble riders raised over £2,000 for PRDA cycling from Hampton Court to Worthing and back on 23 August. 12 intrepid riders met at Hampton Court bridge at 6.30am, and others joined along the way. The peloton stopped briefly at trustee Jane Norris-Jones’ house for a photo shoot before pedalling on and picking up more riders. The group totalled 17 by the time they arrived at Worthing to be greeted by trustee Lesley leading a reception of family and supporters. Two hardy riders even paused for a swim before setting off home again. The round trip was over 100 miles. Massive thanks to all who rode, supported and donated, especially to Frank in the support car, and John Parker and the Masters rowers of Molesey Boat Club who organised the ride and comprised half of the riders.
You can relive the route here. John Parker’s giving page is still open – it’s not too late to donate!
