[4th February 2025]
The World Cancer Day theme for 2025 is “United by Unique” representing a call for a people-centred approach to cancer care—one that fully integrates each individual’s unique needs with compassion and empathy. When care is truly centred around people, it leads to improved outcomes.
An estimated 100,000 people in the UK are living with Pelvic Radiation Disease (PRD). Yet, PRD remains widely unrecognised.
Cancer treatment should not just be about adding years to life—it should also be about adding life to years.
As a charity one of our main aims is to provide a voice for people living with PRD, and the best way to do that is to share the lived-experience of individuals with PRD. Every story and every voice matters. You can read real-life stories on our website.
If you’d like to share your experience of PRD to inform, inspire, and drive change we’d love to hear from you.
