The Gastrointestinal Consequences of Cancer Treatments Study Day, delivered by The Royal Marsden Gastrointestinal and Nutrition Team (GIANT), is a CPD accredited educational event for healthcare professionals who are looking for an introduction to the gastrointestinal (GI) effects of cancer treatment. This event is designed for Allied Healthcare Professionals, including Doctors, Nurses, Radiographers, Dietitians, and Physiotherapists.
Bringing together expertise from across the multidisciplinary team, the study day explores how chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, and immunotherapy can affect the g GI tract, and provides practical insights into the recognition and management of common side effects.
