The Pelvic Radiation Disease Association is seeking to recruit a skilled Services & Volunteer coordinator to join its small team of staff and volunteers who are passionate about making a difference.

This is an exciting time to join the charity as we transition to our new ambitious strategy for 2021 – 2023 and increase our profile, impact and reach more people living with Pelvic Radiation Disease (PRD) find the support and access to better treatment they need.

The Volunteer and Services Coordinator will have two key roles – to recruit, support and develop a team of volunteers and support our helpline service. PRDA needs more volunteers in a variety of roles, in order to enhance our work to support and represent people whose lives have been affected by PRD.

The successful applicant will be a skilled, empathetic communicator with excellent organisational skills, who has experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers, ideally in a health charity. The ability to gain and maintain volunteers’ confidence is essential, as is a commitment to equality and inclusion. Experience of working within a helpline or a befriending/signposting service would be advantageous.
